Halfway There

We’re halfway there. (If you don’t hear Bon Jovi already, our brains are not the same. – Livin’ on a Prayer!)

There are 14 episodes of the serialized podcast of The Scarring Underneath out in the world now. The novel is half finished. The experience has not been perfect or smooth in any way, but I have enjoyed it. It’s been fun to revisit Cass and Billy and all the characters and places that were so close to me when I wrote TSU.

A lot has been moving and changing in my personal life as I have been producing this as well, so there’s been comfort in the routine of it – prepping the chapters, recording, editing – the weekly overwhelming self-doubt and the repeated decision to do it anyway. One thing is for sure, this won’t be my only podcast. 

The podcast will wrap up in July, and I’ll be doing a giveaway to celebrate those two big words: The End. 

So if you haven’t started listening, look for it wherever you’re currently listening to podcasts or right here on the home page of my website. There are plenty of episodes to sink your teeth into before it all wraps up. And stay tuned here, because I have big plans for when TSU concludes.
